Thanks you so much for speaking at our Nov. 6th Ghana celebration at Corus Entertainment.

The grade 8 students from Swansea Public School and Howlett Academy were blown away by your moving address to make a change.

I think they are still chanting “Yes we can” and making that special gesture with their hands.

You made them feel that what they had done by learning about Ghana, e-mailing a friend from Ghana and preparing 5 pound packages for their friends was more important and meaningful than they had imagined.

I looked in my son’s diary that night (with permission) and read that “you were the best part” of the celebration.

My boss said that her son described you “as a book that he can read” (meaning, he understood your message).

The teachers raved as did the employees from Corus.

We thank you so much for putting the icing on the cake that day.

When kids think of this meaningful project, you will be one of their strongest memories.

Thanks forthe Ghanaian warmth and power that you brought with you last Thursday.
